This portable heating torch with high BTU output potential employs a preheating loop for warming and expanding the gas for more combustion efficiency. These torches are not as efficient as the gaseous plus air torches and an orifice change must be made when changing fuels. Minimum gas pressure of 15 psi must be maintained for proper gas to air ratio.
These portable heating torches are lightweight, rugged and flexible in their use. The combustion chamber is a heat resisting material which glows at a bright red. This bright red glow is radiant heat which reflects back into the mixing chamber, thus enhancing the combustion process. Also, the many louvered openings permit a parallel flow of secondary air aiding combustion and reducing noise level.
